During the winter the enchanted Val di Luce offers a wonderful whiteness horizon overlooked by the mountains of Passo di Annibale, Monte Gomito and Alpe Tre Potenze.
The valley is full of history: Hannibal crossed it and the name Tre Potenze was given to the mountain because it used to be the borderline among the three powers of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, the Duchy of Modena and the Duchy of Lucca.
In the winter these historical marks are hidden under the white blanket of snow, but yet they are reflected into the kind hospitality of the valley. Here lots of different passions can be satisfied, especially those connected with winter sports.
